Nyasha Madavo is a seasoned finance, governance, and risk professional with over 15 years of experience across large corporates, medium-sized entities, start-ups, and not-for-profit organisations. Her passion lies in helping small and medium enterprises (SMEs) grow sustainably and operate with confidence in an increasingly complex business environment.

As the former CFO of a leading enterprise and supplier development organisation, Nyasha gained deep insight into the challenges SMEs face—particularly around financial management and decision-making. In 2020, she founded Sapientis Advisory, a business that provides outsourced finance, advisory, and transaction support services to both private sector clients and SMEs.

Through her work with entrepreneurs, Nyasha saw a clear and recurring need: practical, accessible finance training tailored to the realities of small business. This led to development of the Fundamentals of Finance for Small Business Owners program—an online training course designed to equip entrepreneurs with the financial skills and confidence they need to grow and succeed.

She combines technical expertise with a practical, problem-solving mindset to help SMEs become financially savvy, resilient, and ready to scale.
